Rooted in Community
About this Initiative
In 1888, Long before Elon University and the opening of Live Oak Communications in 2007, our office was a grove of oak trees. This community of trees protected each other from harsh conditions with their strong root system and enhanced biodiversity. The trees within the grove stood taller and lived longer than those outside of it.
That sentiment stands today: our community (and our roots) are stronger together.
With this in mind, we are excited to reaffirm our commitment to keeping our grove alive through our new initiative, Rooted in Community. The strength of our Alamance County community lies in the dreamers, entrepreneurs and non-profits dedicated to making our home a more inclusive place. To facilitate this commitment, we are offering our services of student-run advertising and public relations at an accommodating financial rate. This partnership is open to any non-profit or cause-centered organization in Alamance County who wants to further establish their brand with the help of our agency’s skills in public relations, social media, advertising, and more.
